Our Texas hill country real estate market currently remains strong and active relative to the rest of the U.S. Additionally, this minor downward deflection in the last month has had little or no impact on the increased values seen in the past 12 months.
Kerrville remains the leader in year over year with properties posting a 9% increase in estimated value in the previous year (1.79% in the past month). While Kerrville the final hill country holdout of reasonably priced properties, this trend could see Kerrville become less affordable in the coming years.
Here are the year over year estimated value increases for our other markets:
- Comfort: 7.86% (-0.54% in the past month) Low volume will continue to influence the volatility of this market.
- Fair Oaks Ranch: 4.85% (1.37% in the past month)
- Fredericksburg: 6.75% (2.13% in the past month)
- Boerne: 7.96% (2.88% in the past month)
